I am an experienced acting teacher and director. I have taught, directed and worked on audition panels at several institutions including ALRA , Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Salford University and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
I coach drama school auditions, audition technique, acting and introduction to the actors voice. I work with students at all levels, from those interested in applying for drama school to professionals. I can prepare students thoroughly for anything that requires them to deliver an effective performance. I use the approaches of Stanislavsky and am influenced by Katie Mitchell, Michael Chekhov, Declan Donnellan and Jacques Lecoq.
Recent students have gone on to train at Royal Welsh, LAMDA, Guildhall, ALRA and East 15.
I trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Acting MA. I gained my BA in Performing Arts from Salford University. I have worked as an actor and director for ten years with companies and theatres across the UK including The BBC and The Lowry.
